Last updated: August 23, 2026
Heidi D'Amelio is committed to making heididamelio.com accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.
Our approach
We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This site already includes:
- A skip-to-content link for keyboard users
- Visible focus outlines on links and buttons
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images
- Labeled navigation and interactive elements, including aria-labels on icon links
- Support for reduced-motion preferences, which turns off animations and transitions for visitors who request it
- Attention to color contrast between text and background
Ongoing work
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We periodically review the site and welcome feedback on any barriers you encounter.
